Timing chain rattles when starting the engine. It varies but usually doesn't rattle for more than a few seconds, maybe 3?
It sounds awful but I think it just sounds worse than what it is, either way I really don't like it.
I've read it's normal and Nissan guarantee the chain for the life of the engine. Is it worth the bother of tensioning it?
