putting 1.3 into 1.0 tomorrow. NEED HELP!!!

hi i have a micra k11 1.0 and after a few good looking mods i decided on a 1.3 engine for her. I have now got one and it is all cleaned up with crome rocker cover and painted but i need to find out if the drive shafts are the same. the car i got it off was a mot failure on sills, cross member and both inner and outer joints on both side. i need to no if my 1.0l drive shafts will fit and need to no now as i am putting it in tomorrow. please let me no if you no. thanks matt

yes 1.0 drive shafts will fit, but 1.3 drive shafts are stronger. take it you have the 1.3 gearbox and ecu?

yes had ecu and gearbox. just got it put in. the drive shafts are dirrerent. the splines that go into gearbox are loads bigger so 1.0l ones done fit. also if anyone needs to no in future wot needs changing you need 1.3 gear linkages as gearbox if different 1.0l ones dont fit and also speedo cable as the hole it goes into the gear box is bigger. other than that i must admit it goes like f*ck compared to a
1.0l.

my experience comes from facelift micras, so those things you mentioned only apply to pre-facelift micras '93-'98.
