Petrol and performance

Does anyone notice a difference in performace with different petrol stations?
I used to use the esso which is very close to my so that was my benchmark. I put a full tank of asda fuel in there and there is a deffinate improvement in performance, I have the 1.0 with no mods.
It is not some sort of massive improvement but things like going up hills (plenty around me) and mid range acceleration are a little better.
Or am I just going barking mad?

coolant temp sensor might be giving up slowly
it shouldnt make a difrunce which petrol pump

I find the same to be fair, and different places give different results on how long the fuels last i find too, but it could just be my head (Y)

On a tank of shell this week, not as good and the tank is going down quicker!
Back to asda at the weekend to retest, maybe I should quit the drinking!!

Shell burns strongly but runs out quick i find, asda and tesco are where it at (Y) total were quite good but very pricy now!
