Off to the breakers...

I am planning on going down to the local car breakers yard and see if they have a few altos I can massacre.
I have read up all of the lowering guides, and I am going to go the 'alto springs' way to lower it. However, I can't get my head around it...
I THINK I need 4 rear springs off a 93-02 alto.
Does anyone know if they are a straight up swap over onto the standard dampers at the front?
and do I Have to get shorter rear dampers off a corsa c to keep the rears captive?
