Is there a big difference between the ukdm and jdm recess?

No pics sorry buddy didnt think to take any. I removed the UKDM handle and put the JDM holder into the recess but couldnt get it to sit flush. So there may be some slight alterations needed.

When checking it on Mck's looks like a little bit of hammering and it would sit fine.
