Nissan BE1 how close to a Micra?

Hello everyone,

I am looking at buying a 1989 1000cc Nissan BE1, I know it is based on the same platform as the Nissan Micra, but I don't know anything more than that. How close to the Micra is this model? The main thing I'm trying to figure out is the rarity/availability of parts and servicing etc etc...
(i'm in Australia by the way )

I'm having a lot of trouble finding information about it!

I would say it's very similar seeing as the cars code is BK10 (Figaro is FK10 and Pao is PK10) so I would go as far as saying it uses a lot of similar parts. The engine will be the MA10 as used in standard K10s i believe.
