New micra owner (possibly)

Good afternoon folks,


I’ve been perusing the forum for a few weeks now trying to pick up any hints and tips for the k11. I have arranged to travel down to London to have a look at a cheap Si with the intention of buying it if there’s nothing too wrong with it in a couple of weeks. Only trouble is the 200 mile drive to get it home, luckily I’ve got good break down cover!


Just wanted to say hi, I’m based around Sheffield so if there’s anyone else local let me know. Any hints on what to look for or listen for on the long drive home if I end up buying it would be greatly appreciated!

thanks for the welcome ive read the buyers guide cover to cover, I think i'll take a copy with me as well.

I've checked my breakdown cover and it'll take me home from anywhere in the UK so whats the worst that can happen!

I'll get some pics up when I get it, its got a MSC sticker in the window so maybe someone will recognise it, im looking forward to having a tinker, I'v got a few ideas already.

It wasn't to be, I got there to discover three bald tires. I'm pretty gutted tbh, I asked if it was ok to make the drive and he didn't mention there being any issues at all. if it had been a weekday then a trip to Kwikfit would have resolved things but it was too far to drive as it was.

So if anyone knows of a micra for sale, up to about £400 but might stretch a little, ideally close to Sheffield, let me know!

I haven't given up on the micra owning dream!
