N14 Brakes Question.

Hey, bought a set of re-co'd AD 18V Calipers of JKL
ages ago, finally got around to putting them on, as I have got some wheels to fit them under. I have hit a hurdle.

As they are a slight diff setup to the micra brakes,
do the pulsar brakes need a pin to hold the pads in place?

I assume they don't float free in there =)

The micra clips just dont look like they are intended for pulsar calipers.. dammit i will have to source some i guess.

yeh mate. they have a clip either end of the caliper.. that holds the pads in... you don't need the shims on the outside of the pad however, allthough, depending on what pad you run, it could squeel without them.

i didn't get any squeel for about 2000km but get a little with the pads cold... got the shims sitting on the shelf so if it gets really annoying i'll put em back in

personally i love a good brake squeel. each to there own. add's a racey feel i reckon... gotta make all the right noises
