If you had read it, you'd see it's a 1000 sub powered by a 500w amp , although im not quite sure how that works. Surely the amp should be more powerful than the sub - otherwise its under pressure etc

its probably a fair bit lighter than an equivalent sized MDF enclosure and if soundproofed properly would more than likely sound pretty good, anyway it's definately a unique mod.
