Momentary random deceleration problem?

Hey guys. Our 1,0l K11 has been running fine since we got her other than a paired of screwed CV joints. Our son pointed out a weird thing which we also noticed ourselves on a 3,0hr round trip yesterday. Every once in a while, the car feels like it decelerates for a fraction of a second. Not like when you dip the clutch, but more like the "pull" you feel when dropping down a gear and letting compression braking pull your speed down. No discernible change in RPM or engine noise.

The car did it about 5-6 times in the return journey driving a constant-ish 90kph (55mph). Our son noted it whilst city driving where it is max 40kph (25mph).

My gut feeling is that it is downstream of the clutch. If the engine farted, I don't think it would pull the car back that hard. It feels like the kind of force you feel when a truck passes and buffets you, except backwards?

Might be useful to note that it has been up to -20°C the last two weeks. Haven't had trouble starting the car at all though, and this happens even when running up to temp. Probably nothing to worry about but wondering if this is indicative of some bigger issue further down the line.

Cheers.
