Misfiring above 3000rpm

Hi,

My 2003 K12 Micra 1.2 59KW started misfiring above 3000 rpm today. There is no enginelight burning, sparkplugs are looking good.
Can someone give me a direction where to look? The Micra has got 136000 km's experience .

I'm afraid so but i wasn't aware this is one of the symptoms of a stretched chain? Engine light doesn't burn but idle is a little rough.
Are there any other possibilities i could check? Are there any fault codes when the chain is stretched?

it usually flags a cam or crank sensor code eh, maybe its in limp mode for some reason ?
