March/Micra parts compatibility

Hi all,my 2000 march has developed cv joint problems. I'm told though that the cv joint for the micra may be different from that of the march. I thought the names were just for different markets while the parts (except some body panels and dash)were identical.
Does any one have info on the interchangebility of the parts?

quite a few of the parts are quite different. the drive shaftfitment is the same, but the actual cv joint maybe different. the ones on my march looked a little different to the micra ones.
