Lowering

Hello. Sorry for setting up a new thread. I just want ask someone who is already lowered. What exactly I can use to lower. Sorry I'm not expert. And I never did something like this before. But Micra deserve it. So I must also ask if someone know about some good service around Birmingham?

Thwres a sticky thread on it you should look for. How much you planning on spending? Is it just for lows or for motosport?

Not for motorsport. I've only 998 engine just want better grip on road

Cheapest is cut coils lower a bit (what i have at the moment) but doesnt feel enough for me. You can get lowering springs or fit suzuki alto (mk2 i think) rear springs on front and back. For last You can put the front strut off a daewoo matiz on the front (50mm lower) and corsa b or c dampers on the back eith cut springs or the suzuki alto ones on the back. The last option need a bit of modification ( angle grinder and file ) to fit.

Do the daewoo matiz dampers go with the alto springs?

No i dont think so but im not sure the matiz front damper goes with the matiz front spring

Ahhh, what about the alto springs, do they fit the micra dampers?

Yes the rear alto springs fit front and back micra

So just buy a two sets of standard rear alto springs?

yeh, same era as k11 basically, wagon r and matiz (all very similar)

I think its 98 -2004. I think the other ones were barrel shape springs anyway
