Lost plate light bulbs are ok

I've lost my plate lights but the bulbs still light up if tested

Are the side lights gone aswell??

Nope just plate lights. If it test them on a battery they light up

Either a fuse, or the earths for the plate lights need fixing

Fuses are fine. Ive found an earth screw in the boot is loose. I have a wire diagram which isn't really clear it refers to a back door harness linking to the main harness stupid question is where exactly is this harness ?

Not sure, never really looked in the back as mine never went wrong, but you could probably make a new earth. The existing connection or loom may be damaged.

Checked them and found left turned right on and vice versa !! sorted out now rewired correctly
