Lost me spark

Hi,

Had to get the RAC to come check my k10 this morning who found the points knackered. Also the rotor arm too. As he doesnt carry these Im now left on me todd!

I've picked up the new bit but dont know how to set them up and my haynes manual has now legged it.

Anyone point me in the right direction please? Pic would help and any gap sizes also. ( and of course I dont have a dwell meter before you ask )

IMO, the best thing to do is get yourself down to a scrappers and pick up the newer electronic type distributer, no points no messing.

There are no points! found it to be electronic and the prat led me up the garden path.

Old reliable was happy again after a rotor arm change!
