Lights off - show's over!

Hi all.

As this is only my 2nd post and, as per confession in first post, I know next to nothing about cars, please be gentle with me :)

OK:

The other day my wife (The Driver) noticed that the driver side brake light was out. Fine - I'll change the bulb says I.

This morning I get a text advising that the headlight & side light on the same side have now gone.

So. I'm determined (at this stage) not to take it to a garage to be charged a chunk of money if it's something I can diagnose & fix by myself (with help from any expert here.)

Where do I start? Is there a single fuse for the lights in question? Do I nip down to Halfords and buy the bulbs, fit them and hope that solves the issue?

Any help/advice gratefully accepted in advance.

Stevie

Yeah they're all on seperate electrical systems so change the bulbs for now. No point looking for a problem which may not be there

Thanks for the prompt reply Arnold (and the semi go-ahead to try a bodge it :D)

I assume it's as easy as pop the bonnet/open the boot; remove the old & replace with the new?
