Lambda Readings

Hi Guys,
I have been suffering excess fuel consumption in the last few weeks on the SR. I have tested the coolant temp sensor and know its not that.
So I tested the lambda sensor today and went for a drive with the multimeter connected and I was getting 0.7 - 0.9v most of the time apart from when I lifted off and it went to 0v which I know means its running rich but if the lambda sensor is giving a rich reading does this means its fine and that its something else causing it to drink fuel?

sounds duff to me joe it should bounce between .4 and .6v, one or two times a sec @ cruise like this
and with the right injectors, go off the scale rich @ WOT

i need to check mine to be fair!

since letting it idle for about an hour while getting the coolant right and to temp etc etc... its drinking fuel!

usually i get 120-130m to £20

atm im nearly out and only done 70!

My astra does 15 to the gallon... I may have to check this aswell.
