Key fob problem, stop working

Hiya, just seeing if anyone else had the same problem, working fine then me rear wiper wouldn't work and the rear window heater light stayed on even when off, sorted that problem out and then me fob key wouldn't work after that, won't lock or open but will go in program mode but it won't set the program, any help, many thanks.

What are the steps that you use to connect it? do you see the hazard lights blink once after the sequence?
