K12 starts normally, then stalls

My Micra ran perfectly until one day it wouldn't start.
After starting and running at 2000 revs for about 10 seconds, the revs drop quickly and the motor stalls, leaving a smell of unburnt petrol. Thereafter on starting it dies almost immediately, as if flooded. Leaving it an hour

The garage says there is an error from the throttle system, but they don't know where. They replaced the throttle pedal sensor and said the error was still present so it must be a problem with the throttle body.
I dismantled this, it is like new inside. The motor responds to 5V, and it closes the valve when the ignition is cut. The resistance and voltage on the position sensors seems cherent: no glitches, dead spots, etc. It seems perfect to me, but I will try a replacement when I can get one.

The fuel pump has been checked out.
Plugs and airfilter are new.
The garage says the timing is perfect and that it is not a chain problem.

Any ideas?

I've now put a new throttle body on. No difference. The problem is frustrating as the motor runs perfectly for 10 to 15 seconds, then it is as if an invible hand shuts it down.

Still no ideas?

  1. What fault codes were initially found by your garage?
  2. What codes exist now after numerous parts changing work?
  3. What year is it and mileage?
