k12 engine management on, thudding while driving

hi,

Well yet again, Im on here to get info on a problem with my nissan micra. k12 52 reg.

I had just got off the motorway luckily and I noticed the engine light was flashing on and off, and then it went off.

Then suddenly my car started thuddering, jerking, quite violently. I had to pull over, and checked under the bonnet. I smelt a little like burnt rubber, very faint.

The engine light still on now. it starts, but I wont chance to run it.

It has just had a timing chain replacment 2 months ago.

If is the check engine light on the panel could be you must change the lamda sensor. The best thing you must do is a scanner.
