k12 alternator earth wire

This may sound daft but where does it go to ?, I have one end attached to the top alternator bracket which it has not been removed from and I have found a few pics on the net to verify that. but I cant find one that shows where it goes, does it bolt onto the rear of the alternator or is it to the bodywork, it was removed by some one else who started doing the timing chain but left it in bits.

Hi mate it goes onto the front panel just underneath the drivers side headlight

Thanks I'm off down to hopefully finish it off tonight, will bolt it to body work, its only taken me 5 month to replace the timing chain
