is it possible to change the head gasket on a k11 micra with the engine in the car if so has anyone done this ??

yes, no problem daniel, pretty straight forward, i usually unbolt the exhaust manifold, pull out the dizzy, undo the sprockets on the top chain, and leave the inlet manifold on

would i need to jack up the engine on the drivers side as im thinking that i would need to take the engine mount off to gain better access to the pully side of the engine??
yes that mount has to come off anyway, (to gain access to the chain side cover)
the chain idler bolt has to be removed too, btw (and the idler bush locating peg lined up on refitting)
