K11 fabric shelf strong enough ?

Hello !

I changed the fabric HU of my K11 with a new Alpine one, but the only front speakers seems not loud enough, so i wanted to put two Infinity 5000i (13 cm) on the rear. But i wonder, if the fabric shelf would be strong enough to support them ?

Should be, it's chipboard beneath the carpet They're generally sturdier than you think...

ive got infinity 6x9s in my standard k11 shelf for over a year and have had no problems so far

you would be better reinforcing it with some mdf. Will begin to sag eventually and also vibrate a lot, you would be better spending the money on some comps up front because the micra is only a small car and rear speakers arent really essential

no need to be sorry lol ill rephrase, in my k11, i dont feel the need for rear speakers as it such a small car and i get good enough sound from the speakers in the front since there amped and the bass in the back from the sub
