I have my MOT due this Thursday, and am a little worried my K11 might fail on the crossmember. I know it's not strictly a failure as 30cm from any load bearing points, however the bottom end of the bonnet catch bracket has rusted away from the crossmember so although the bonnet shuts, it moves up and down a very small amount at motorway speeds.
Does anyone know of a decent garage in Kent that has welded in a replacement crossmember so is familiar with the job, and does so at a good price?
Fingers crossed it won't fail on that but I want to get something lined up in case it does!
