Its All Going Wrong!

Hi All

Well Started about a week ago a smell of buring oil throught the air vents guessing there is a leak so does anyone know the most likley place or has anyone experienced this problem also in the past week the fron windscreen is misting up and no matter how much hot cold or window open air i blast at it it only clears by wipeing it again any ideas appreciated.

Are you using up coolant? You may have a leak in the heater matrix - check the area in the centre of the dash for moisture.
Is the ar burning any oil?

Craig is bang on tis the Heater Matrix... same symptons on my old car and was the Matrix in the end...

What i did was look at the matrix coolant pipes inside the engine bay and bung them together by passing the matrix...

then rip out the whole dash and open up the blower unit you'll see the matrix pipes which help locate the unit itself... easy replacement then just put everything back together and top up with coolant...

it wil still smell funny for a day or two but just magictree that out...
