Ignitionset power increase?

Hola, thinking about upgrading the plugs with slightly larger gap, new dizzy cap n rotor arm, putting magnecore plug leads. Is this realistically likely to give any gain? A bigger spark always better yeh but not necessarily more go? Just better burn?

does sweet F/A in my opinion you "may" get a fatter spark that burns a milisecond faster, but you could move the dizzy a tad and get the same result, the petrol only contains a set amount of energy, and when its burnt its burnt fwn

Fair point Frank. Fatter spark only needed if higher compression yeh. going to get it set up again soon hopefully get the cam timing tweeked to increase mid range? Going to hold off on the 1L pistons at the moment as doing more rallies and engine seems quite reliable. Will maybe build a complete spare. Going to lighten the flywheel though.

The speed that it burns is 10m/sec only way to half the burn time is to introduce a second spark i believe! Something usefull i learnt!
