idle problems:S

right basically i saw titches car idle properly using the 1.6 tb and the cg ecu, how the hell do you do it? anyone got any ideas? cheers chie

Yeah i know how to do it

to do it properly you have to:

1) Reset the timing as the ga16 ecu knocks it out
2) Reset the idle (the screw at the back of the tb)
3) Dont fit the ga16 injectors (dont know if you fitted them or not)

To change the timing you would need a strobe light preferably. If you cant get your hands on one then play around with the dizzy until the timing improves (i.e. unbolt it slightly and move it until the car runs ok)

To change the idle you would need to adjust the screw on the throttle cable i think on the ga16 tb. By adjusting the screw you will set the idle to the required setting.

Finally you MUST remove the ga16 injectors as the are not neeeded and the car will overfuel. A cg13 running ga16 bits will make the car slightly overfuel.

Mine idled at just over 1k with the CG ECU w/out any tinkering at all
