so the factory alloys dont sit on the hub flush?
I only need to get a thin ring; 63.4/59.3mm
if the factory alloys have about that much clearance is there even a point of me getting a ring?

Without a hub ring, any stresses/force are taken up by the studs, plus wheel may end up off centre and cause vibration.

I would get them, but that's just me.

I just tried my feeler gauges on my fronts :)
Both sides i could run a 12" thou feeler between one of the 4 contact points in the steel bore, and could pass an 8" thou between 2 points both sides, but could,nt get a 4" thou feeler between the 4th contact point both sides.
