How many MPG will my nissan do??

Well once I passed my test I will be traveling to work in it.... and that's all it will be used for. is there a average they will do.

i've got the 1.2 and get about 48mpg on a run , if you dont thrape the bollocks out of it sit at a steady 70 on the motorway you should do o.k , depends on how well the engine is serviced plugs etc around town i've never really checked accurately but its pretty close to 40 going by how often i fill it .

my k10 1.0 will do 40 - 45mpg normal day to day. I would say high 40's on a run

My '87 1.0L averaged 45mpg on a 50-60mph A/B-road commute. Now I'm doing a shorter commute through town and it does about 37mpg stop/start traffic etc. Motorways at 70mph+ is about 35mpg.

surely if some insane gearing was done it could be possible to do 60 without much work
