Now then GRUNT here.

I'm not a Micra owner at all, Though I do have an Almera as a family car.
Any how the reason I'm here is for a bit of information if thats Ok.

You see I've got a Land Rover Defender and need new seats, the problem is the the base of the passenger seat needs to be removeable to get at the battery and storage area, Somebody on the Land Rover forum I go on seems to think that Micra seat bases are removeable and would do the job. I was hoping someone could verify this before I start looking on Ebay and the local scrappys someone on here may even have some for sale.

Any old how thanks for reading this and for any info you can give, please advise if this needs to be reposted in a different section.

Hiya, do you mean the base removeable from the seat back or removeable from the seat subframe

Both reely the seat rails would mount on the seat box and to get at the storage area and battery the seat base would have to come away completely. I'd thought of getting a seat that hinges forward but the headrest would touch the windscreen before there was enough room to get at the space under it.
