How do i know if my Springs are shot ?

The car has never been great at going round corners what with body roll and jittery handling.I changed all the shocks this year as the original ones were shot.The springs seemed soft as i didn't need a compressor to re-fit the new monroe Shocks.

How should the k10 1.0 handle and how can test to see if the springs need replacing...if so thinking of monroe ones,nice quality.

It's always a good idea to lower the car with lowering springs also, to get rid of some body roll.
Just get a drop of around -35mm and see how that feels!
