hmmm...

its not as easy as you think! just make shure what you are going to weld can be welded and will not melt. make shure its just a plastic serface with no piant ect ect on the job.

just keep a steady hand and go at a steady pace, u'll pick it up with a bit of practice.

note....there is a fair bit of smooothing of with some grit paper :doh:
 
plastic weilding is dear... i fixed my bumper by heatin the bumper so it started to melt and placed a strip of mesh on (on the rear). once it called the plastic has came tho the mesh and weild it to gether, not the right way but worked :)
 
Ive done quite alot of this using a soldering iron mate. Its easy enough when you get the hang of it. If its a bumper crack i'd tend to plastic weld the back of it up and then use something cleaner like filler or fiberglass on the side that will be seen if you get me? Oh and dont be breathing in the fumes of the melted plastic eh(Y)
