Help... sunroof stuck!!

With it being a lovley day yesterday i thought i would windback the sunroof .
All fine till i came to wind it back close and bang.. its stuck and the winder is just going around in circle looks like something has snapedgrr .
Any ideas guy how to get it closed before the rain comes.

Is it a rotating plastic cog that has had its teeth snapped off

Try dismantling it ?

thanks lads took the winder out and found the top cog has snapped away from the bottom one.
Off to the breakers i think .
still cant close the sunroof full though about a 2" gap at the front!! ######.
