HELP PLEASE! AIR FLOW METERS!

Hi all, can anyone tell me if there is a difference between the the afms for the manual and automatic cars? or are they exactly the same? ive found one off an import, but it is off an automatic. Also, is there a difference between the 1000cc and the 1300cc afms?

oh, also how can we tell the difference visually? does anyone have any part numbers which are found on them? thanks all in advance

thats a screenshot from nissan FAST, i dunno the physical differences, maybe the kickdown cable/tranmision on CVT's connect up too it. I stay with TB's of manual micra's,

The place the accell cable attaches to it is different but it can be removed from the manual TB and placed onto the auto TB.

thats it!? why did they do that? is it much mucking around? how much should i expect to pay second hand? ive been quoted 250 and at another place 110! does resoldering solve a lot of problems? apart from the dry joints, are the afms themselves quite robust and durable?

As far as I know thats all that differs.

The resoldering trick does fix most problems with them.

I bought one new from www.probedistributors.co.uk for £176 with 3 year guarantee. NOTE: they charge you £25 + VAT up front on your card until you send them your own AFM back which they then credit back to your card (they didn't tell me this when I phoned them!)
