I just bought a foam filter. I except some piping required but dunno what. I see that there are other pipes and cables that run off the airbox. I was told that removing the factory airbox and getting a pipe done is the best??
I have already looked that it and it has been helpful. But I am not too keen in a over-the-top-of-the-engine design. My filter I got has a inlet diameter of 80mm. Is that a problem at all?? I am not familiar with the set up of the march. Os there anywhere I can find a labelled and detailed diagram/pictures of the throttle body and airbox area?? Thanks heaps guys
i've just fitted one simular myself with an engine breather filter and it works well enough without any pipes might add some flexy hose cos summer comin lol
if ne1 is looking at this then also any help will be appreciated. put a tank of optimax petrol(about 98 octane) in to do a long run(177 miles), half way through engine managment light came on. stopped, filled tank half with standard petrol(95 octane) and light went off.
2 days later, put induction kit on and after 3 hours of driving light came on once again.
anyh ideas??????
grif88 - you're better off asking on www.micra.org.uk or www.micraholics.co.uk as in australia we don't have the check engine lights. (at least I don't!)
