Hello and bump under carpet

Hello, my wife has recently purchased a 2008 Micra 1.2 Acenta 5dr. We are very pleased with it but have a query and I thought I would ask here before asking the dealership. Under the carpet behind the drivers seat there is a bump in the carpet, when you press it, it feels like there is a rectangular or square box underneath. Has any one eles got this?

not an expert on this !! but some cars have bumps there for wire connectors, cable junctions etc dont know if it the same

i think it`s something to do with the airbags i will check my workshop manual in the morning for you i also have this bump but have never really thought about whats there
