Are the ma10 and ma12 gaskets the same??

i think the bores are smaller or is the difference in the heads its self? i cant remember now lol

I haven't a clue tbh mate
** I thought they were just shorter throw con rods in the 12s as the heads are virtually interchangeable

not sure thats what i thought as well but i think someone said the heads were different i think it was porkpie? that said it. not sure if that means the gaskets are different tho lol.

I'm pretty sure the heads are interchangeable, been a little while since I looked tbh

the ma10 has a 68mm bore iirc and the ma12 71. the heads are interchangeable but you would use the ma12 gasket

So ma12 head gasket and ma10 are different, I saw one on eBay that said ma10/12 hence my confusion didn't want to buy a gasket that was too small

Heads are different but interchangeable. Gaskets are not interchangeable.
Use an MA12 head on an MA10 ok but use an MA10 head gasket

It's just for my ma12 rebuild, the only ma12 hg I can find is like 50 quid!! Where as the ma10 hg are about 10 quid
But I may just scrap the ma12 and go with my new plan

Still pondering if it's worth bothering with tbh, may just scrap it and use the turbo on my new engine
