had key reprogrmmed

hi,the bloke came out today and reprogrammed the key again fires up on the button again.the bloke saidthere is a kind of black box under the ignition where you put the key in he said they tend to give up.how true is he.can i get one from scrapyard and are they easy to fit.thanks fwn

you could try another one paul, but it will need to be recoded i believe, (there,s a recent thread on here)
