The other one is the sound deadening under rear seat and under carpets, time consuming but saves you a few kg's.
Step one- seats out, carpet out.
Step two- get yourself a scraper, hammer, chizel, fat screwdriver, heat gun, hair dryer, well some thing to heat it up and the scrap it off.
(and a spare day or two!)
Step three- get some thinners, white spirit, petrol etc on a rag and clean the left over glue off.
Step four- carpet back in then seats
Step five look at the big pile of pointless heavy sound deadening that was weighing your car down......

take all un-necessary panels off, doors wingd bonnet the lot, lol, joking, have a look at stanie's blog for his race car, he's seriosly light iirc

i've got a spreadsheet full of weight taken out of my old Si. im not going to post it up as its huge, but i'll put some specifics up.....

rear split folding seat - 14.7KG (3.3Kg for base, 11.4Kg for seat back)
rear seatbelts - 2.26Kg (0.9Kg each side belt and 0.46Kg for middle belt)
radio - 1.22 Kg
speakers:
front: 0.47Kg each
A-pillar: 50g each
parcel shelf with speakers: 3.4Kg
total stereo weight: 5.7Kg

mud flaps: 1.5Kg
carpet: 1.6Kg to front of front seat
headlining: 1.3Kg

i emoved over 105Kg of material from my last micra. if you want to know how much something weighs, just put it on here and i'll try and find it on the spreadsheet.
