Hi all, i have a 1998 k11 1.0l and gearbox is knackered, ive been told there are 2 different types for this year? whats the difference?

hi RB :grinning: the later g/box has a level/filler plug for the oil, and it has a small circular steel cover held on by a ring of bolts (at the very end near the wheel)

Thanks buddy, as opposed to being filled through speedo drive hole? and there is only 2 types yeah. cant afford to fork out for 2 gearboxes lol

yes mate, and you would,nt want to buy the later coilpack g/box, the yard i use exports them to germany, where they fetch crazy money
