Gearbox Leak

Hi all,
managed to get the car up on a ramp today while servicing it. Notice that the gearbox was coated in fluid. It seemed to be coming from a sensor?. (a wire running into the gearbox). Is there a seal which has more than likely perished and needs replacing. Didnt take any pictures sorry.

Any help appreciated.

i got this same problem so these driveshaft seals are worn out (from gearbox)

you may have different problems so just have a look. before u start so don't lose any gearbox oil.
