Gearbox help please

I'm after a prefacelift box with a speedo cable drive, to fit a 1.3 engine, I'm just wondering if the 1L box fits with no mods and am I right in thinking the neutral switch needs something doing to it?

The only 1.0 gear box I heard fits and runs direct is the very early face lift on from 99/00 ones that would have the mechanical speedo drive too.just like mine
a whole batch of things to swap over if you went with preface 1.0 box.
drive shafts .flywheel. gear selector rods are different.

the plugs are all there on mine.
neutral switch keeps the idle a little high in gear no?

I got my idle valve Un attached in life.
Frank had his unconnected. then upgrade ecu handle it for him.

Sorry I don't follow, can you take me through it step by step?

heh, clear as mud innit zed the idle control valve can be fitted remotely if needed, or else deleted completely (like mine was) and the preface 1.0 g/box has a different wiring connector for the neutral and reverse switch
