Hi chaps
I've been offered a primera ga engine cheap so how can I get this in?
I'm gonna hope this engine can use a pre 98 k11 1000cc box??? Then the rest is pretty much the same as dropping in a ca engine? Move the mount forward and bobs your uncle?

you would have to use the 160mm k11 f/w and clutch tho eh

And it is mine for £25 gotta be worth a punt
Flywheel and clutch will be sub £100 new I'd imagine

Frank would this work, use primera box primera shaft box end cv joint k11 drive shaft and hub end cv joint k11 hubs?? That way I can upgrade the brakes too

i think what frank meant is that you would have to use the 1.0 clutch which is 160mm with the 1.0l box and im note sure if it can handle the 1.6

the bare shafts/splines are a lot thinner on the 1.0 box eh, and would need to be a different length, tho the 1.6 inboard c/v might fit a 1.3 shaft ?

all the k11 hubs are the same (the pre-facelift 1.0 outer c/v has a smaller inner/shaft spline, thats all)

Cool just that I'd imagine it's more difficult obtaining 1300cc Micra hubs than 1000cc ones
I've found a box for 45 quid too
I may nip the scrappy first see what I can get there first
