does anyone know how much the box and clutch, throttle body and ecu from a ga16 will cost approx?

also anyone have ideas on how much to fit it all?

:)

RE: approx cost needed.......ga16de bits

From a good scrap yard i would pay

£100-£130 for the gearbox and clutch

£30-£35 for a tb and ecu

To modify the gearbox to fit im not too sure, but i will ask george.

As for the tb and ecu, you can do it yourself and shouldn't take more than a hour.

emailed the guy regarding some cams and other stuff.... anyways, 2nd hand throttle body from him £45. Give him a call, quite a friendly bloke :grinning:

Oh, Mike just pipped me 2 it - hmmm, maybe he's not so cheap after all!

1.3 automatic

2 secs ill go check georges guide :p_

it says 1.4 cvt motor..

but im positive when we were last there we were talking and he said 1.3 auto

im very sure i have cg13 auto starter motor sitting in my garage somewere. if anyone does go ahead with the conversion let me know and i will dig it out.

As you know i've just had this conversion done, with the 200mm clutch.

You'll need a cg13 starter motor, and may have to change the drive shafts to, but not 100% on that as my ones were just from the Cg10.

Deff worth the conversion tho, i can get:

1st - 34
2nd - 63
3rd - 96
4th - off the clock (but at a push)
5th - ????

Thats with the cg10- ecu also, so infact it's not running right at that...
If i change to the 1.6 ecu and tb, i'd like to see the results.

0 - 60 times is about 8 secs ish, but not confirmed readings yet, but will maybe borrow Chies timer to get some readings.

Well i've allready got a boost valve, not to sure if that makes much diffrence to be honets, speak to chie, as i know he is running this setup. (1.6 tb & ECU)
