fuel pump priming..

do all k11's (particularly cga) prime fuel pump with ignition only? i have 1 which is occasionally cutting out.checked for blocked fuel filter and notice it was only primiong fuel when engine cranked, not ignition only as im sure my cg13 did. any help would be much appreciated, ta.

it should prime for 5 secs then cut, if not cranked over

we have a problem then! ta for the reply,any ideas if this could be linked to the intermittant kangaroo petrol and cutting out? pains me to say that i havent had a chance to look at it properly and the old dear has taken it up to joe bloggs motors, who has yet to find anything wrong.ta

the relay on mine (pre-facelift) is behind the kickstrip near your right foot,
you could check it with a telltale light or meter maybe (its earthed/signaled via the ecu iirc)
