FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR

okay i have been looking on the internet and have found nothing that relates to after market fuel pressure regulator :/ i only found one on the micra forum but it has no pictures so i was just wondering would a universal fit or not because i have been looking at the normal one and it has an adaptor which is connect to the fuel rail with bolts so i am scared to buy an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator can anyone help and pic if possible thanks

a universal one will fit ok, you need the little 2 bolt fitting for pre-coilpack engines tho

If you go for something like a FSE / Sytec one mate make sure to adjust it once fitted. They say they are setup from the factory but i've always have to change them!

im thinking of buying an FPR too.
i know most cars run at 2 - 2.5psi standard right? correct me if im wrong
but if i bump it up to 3psi, or 4psi.. will there be a power gain? acceleration, top speed? BHP?
i know 5psi is not safe as someone on here tuned it to 5psi and it burst his fuel pipe on the rail or something, but said 3 - 4 was fine

thanks man, i knew it was something to do with numbers haha, i guess its bar, not PSI, so will i gain any power at all by upping the bar ?
