Fog lights

How would i wire up the front fog lights into the fog light switch that is already in the car?

tbh i would wire it the same as the standard fog lights but splice into the standard switch wire closer to the switch itself
thats just my way of working

Standard fog lights have enough problems with relays going wrong etc. It's probably best to just wire it up separately like RTLkyuubi has described, or you could fit driving lamps instead - alot more useful than front fogs, and wire that into your full beam.

now that ive had a think it word be easier just to pic up the live off the headlights

You can't drive with fog lights or driving lamps on unless you need them. You'l just dazzle everyone, get pulled over and fail an MOT too.
