Fitting the Peter Lloyd

With the Peter Lloyd do I have to get a gasket for the flange between the mani and system or what and is it just a drop'n'swap easy job as I'm thinking of doing it when I get home from work tonight, around 8:30

IIRC

need a new gasket for the join between the first cat and the system

youll need some exhaust putty for the joins

And youll need exhaust clamps aswell 50mm IIRC although best to double check

Pretty sure that's everything but double check!, that's what I needed

Could always dive out to a motor factors/Halfords sure they'd have everything.

Bolts on mine were stubborn so we heat them up

Holts Gun Gum is good, but can be messy.

Granville Extra High Temp instant gasket is the bees knees

Right I got all the bit to fit it, tyres to remove the old system last night at about 9pm in the dark, and got everything off apart from the back box was rusted to the through pipe so I put it all back on and I'm either going to cut it off or give it some more welly at the weekend when the boys come over

why do you need to separate it?

anyway if you have one of these it makes cutting the old exhaust simple

remember and keep the second cat, I got £25 for mine
