Fiiting new nats

trying to fit new ignition barrel and nats. Management light flashes and car won't start do I need to reset anything to get car to recognise new nat

I thought it was linked to the ECU?

So the key and barrel match (with transponder I assume) but the ECU isn't recognising them?

that seems to be what is happening can ecu be reset

what parts have you swapped over ? k11 micra?

its a N reg so I think its a k10 I have removed the whole barrel and nats

N? It's a K11 then

I'm pretty sure that the ECU needs to match, it might be able to be reset but I'm unsure

could buy a nats free ecu of here.

only heard about nats working after ,1 - ecu 2 - pick up ring round barrel top 3 - passenger side pillar has a nats unit at the side of dash 4 - NATS key. all have to be matching, maybe not the pick up ring? but i didnt risk it.
