Falling window

Not sure if this should be in the mechanical section BUT...

had a friend with a 51 plate K11 with window winders and her window had fallen into the door, now fixing that wasnt a problem, but now when she winds the window down it goes at an angle, so the front of the window goes down fast than the rear, but comes back up to the correct position... now she had work so i didnt have time to take it all apart to look at the mechanism properly so are there any theories?

if it will stay in like that its no problem, we thought it was pretty cool to have 'lambo windows' lol
just dont want the window falling down again as she only uses her car to go to work and doesn't wanna park up without a window in her door

the clip has come of the window, remove the window and two clips, held in by 10mm nuts. the just use tiger seal or similar to bond the clip back onto the window. it'll be obvious once you get the door card off.

Get the door card off and check the winding mech is not bent also.

yeah it was the clip, bit fubared haha, but some tiger seal sorted that. thanks swiper and thanks for the other suggestion cheef

Excellent. Need to do this to my drivers side window as its not winding down!
